Post 304 National High School Oratorical Scholarship Contest - February 22, 2009, Palmer Middle School, Kennesaw, GA
Palmer Middle School auditorium was the site for the annual Post 304 Oratorical Contest.
Jr. Vice Rich Ray (standing) chats with Commander Larry Lieber and Jr. Vice Fred Gaines before the contest commenced. Rich served as Tabulator and Larry and Fred were timekeepers. And a Certificate for Third Place and a check for $50.00 to Marshall Lorden of Harrison High
Second Place winner was Matt Waldrop of North Cobb High. Here he receives a certificate and a check for $150.00 from the Commaner.
And the Winner: Danielle Lash of Kell High School. Danielle won $250.00 and the congratulations from the Post for this, her second consecutive win. She will advance to the District Five Contest, to be held on Sunday, March 1 at the Mableton Post.
