Post 304 Represented by Color Guard for Acworth's Pioneer Days Parade
Saturday, September 1, 2007, was the kick-off for Acworth's Pioneer Days. A parade, consisting of the North Cobb High Marching Band and many, many other North Cobb organizations, wound its way from KenWorth Park to the Acworth downtown area and beyond.
Post 304 was represented by providing the lead Color Guard to head the parade. Commander Larry Lieber, Jr. Vice Commanders Rich Ray and Fred Gaines, and Adjutant David Burdette made up the Color Guard and marched the entire 20-mile parade route (just kidding, it was only about a mile-and-a-half - it just seemed like 20!).

Commander Lieber delivers instructions to the Guard.

This is the Post 304 Color Guard.
