Fifth District September, 2006 Meeting
American Legion Post 296 in Marietta, at 906 Atlanta Rd. will host the September meeting of The American Legion District Five, on Sunday, September 10, 2006.
Registration starts at 10:00 a.m. The SAL meets at 10:00 a.m. and the Legion will meet at 11:00 a.m. Auxiliary will meet at same time as the Legion.
Lunch will be served. Although the announcement did not state the price for lunch, it is usually $5.00. Also, traditionally there is a 50/50 pot fundraiser for those interested (bring a couple of extra bucks).
All District Five Committee Chairmen will be expected to give their reports.
Bill Lienhop is the new District Five Commander; Hal Reeves is the Adjutant.
We hope to have a good showing from Post 304. Please let me or Commander Lieber know if you have any questions, need transportation or directions.
