U.S. MARINE CORPS SILENT DRILL TEAM TO PERFORM AGAIN AT BIG SHANTY PARADE IN KENNESAW ON APRIL 17, 2010
Just as last year, The U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Team will march in the Big Shanty Festival Parade on Saturday morning, April 17, 2010, and again that evening at the Kennesaw Mountain High School football stadium. The performance that evening will commence at about 7:00 p.m., but if last year is any indication of the crowd that will be there this year with advance notice, you'd better get there early if you expect to get a decent seat.
City Councilman and Post 304 Legionnaire Tim Killingsworth, a Marine, is responsible for bringing this fine unit to Kennesaw for the past two years. You will not want to miss this wonderful performance.
